Stephen Byrne

Stephen has 40 years experience in the Insurance Industry. This experience has been gained in Johnson & Higgins, Marsh, Willis and lately Glennon Insurance. Stephen has been involved in acquiring and managing large commercial accounts and has considerable experience of self insurance programmes and working with captive insurance companies.

He has experience of working with many different industry sectors and he has considerable knowledge of the insurance markets both in Ireland and the UK. He has worked as a Consultant to the Irish Department of Health in the creation of the Clinical Indemnity Scheme which replaced Medical Malpractice Insurance in the Public sector.
