Maree Gallagher

Maree Gallagher is Chairperson of the Agrifood Committee at the British Irish Chamber of Commerce. She is an Irish solicitor who advises exclusively on EU and Irish Agri-Food and Life Sciences law and policy.

Having completed her legal training in Brussels in 1995, Maree returned to Dublin where she set up and led the food and life sciences practice at one of Ireland’s largest law firms. In 2004, Maree established her boutique regulatory law practice MGA which today has offices in Dublin and Brussels. She is a consultant to Beauchamps Solicitors where she leads the Agrifood & Life Sciences Regulatory practice. She is also a Committee member of the UK Food Law Group.

Maree has over twenty years experience working with companies to bring their products to market. Her expertise covers Food, Drink, AGRI, Consumer Products and Life Sciences. Maree is regarded as one of Europe’s leading crisis management experts and has extensive experience advising FMCG companies on product recall and reputation management across the EU.
