Jason Loughrey

Jason Loughrey is an Agricultural Economist in the Teagasc Rural Economy and Development Programme in Galway, Ireland. His research is mainly concerned with Agricultural Land Markets, Risk Management, Farm Succession and Farm Incomes. Jason has co-authored the SCSI/Teagasc Land Market Review and Outlook since 2015.

He has co-authored the annual Teagasc report on the economic outlook for the beef sector since 2017. His research on agricultural land markets is published in peer-reviewed journals including Eurochoices, Rural Studies, Land Use Policy and the Agricultural and Food Economics journal.
