Gwen Wilson

Gwen is responsible for the delivery of the Society’s self-regulatory objectives including the delivery of the regulatory services agreement with the Global Standards Body the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) that facilitates cooperation between the organisations in relation to regulation of dual-members.

Gwen plays a key role in the Society’s disciplinary process when complaints are taken against members and registrants and for CPD non-compliance and recently launched the SCSI statutory system of CPD for registrants under the Building Control Act.

The SCSI is the appointed registration body for the protected titles “Building Surveyor” and “Quantity Surveyor”. Gwen holds the position of Registrar providing strategic leadership, direction and governance of the SCSI’s statutory functions in compliance with the Building Control Act, 2007 (BCA).

Gwen is also a board member on the Construction Industry Register Ireland(CIRI) for Builders in Ireland.
